Today, the mask requirement ended in most circumstances for fully vaccinated guests, and we got news that fireworks are returning to the parks SOON. But as safety policies continue to shift, we’ve noticed an important change on the Disney World website.
We’ve seen some big changes to theme parks’ safety policies lately.
Universal Orlando
Today, Universal Orlando announced that they would no longer require masks indoors. This comes after both Disney and Universal have eliminated temperature checks, increased capacity, and reduced social distancing. But now, Universal Orlando is implementing yet another change.
Disney has been making quite a few changes to its health and safety measures recently.

Social distancing is also being reduced — and we’ve already seen proof of that around property. On our recent trips to the parks, we’ve seen social distancing markers being removed in quite a few places.

Social Distancing Reminder
We’ve already seen Disney World beginning to load riders on every row of many attractions, and Disney has officially announced it will be phasing out temperature checks at the parks soon.
