While you (hopefully) won’t fall victim to luggage thieves, airlines mishandling luggage is another story. According to SITA, a firm that collects data on baggage handling, over 28 MILLION bags are mishandled annually, with 77% of that number covering delays and another 5% representing bags that are completely lost!
If you’re planning to travel soon, you may have already planned out your airplane tickets (taking into account those varying airfare costs), and your transportation to/from the airport and your destination, but there might be something VERY important you’re not thinking enough about…
