Universal has been thinking BIG when it comes to theme parks, and it’s also thinking outside the box, or rather, outside Hollywood and Orlando for new theme parks. Sure, there’s Epic Universe, but that’s not the only thing Universal is working on.

Not only is there a horror experience coming to Las Vegas in August, but an all-new Universal theme park is coming to Texas in 2026, Universal Kids Resort. Now, Universal has dropped some details about the new theme park, but we recently drove by the new resort location and got some photos of its construction progress.

“It’s FINALLY Happening!” — NEW Theme Park Announced Grand Opening!

It’s a good time to be a theme park fan because new theme parks seem to be opening EVERYWHERE. First, Universal Orlando is gearing up to open its third park, Epic Universe, in May.

Universal is also opening up a new horror experience in Las Vegas in August, as well as Universal Kids Resort in Texas in 2026. BREAKING: Universal Just Dropped 7 NEW Announcements About Its Texas Theme Park

Universal Studios hasn’t just been busy with completing its new Epic Universe park at Universal Orlando.

You can certainly get pizza in Disney World, but it’s not Pizza Hut — you won’t find one of those on property.

There are, however, lots of Pizza Hut locations around Orlando, as well as plenty of other fast food chains, so when you’re driving in or out of Orlando, you’ll have lots of options. Pizza Hut, as it turns out, is a very vital part of a lot of people’s childhoods, which is why we’re surprised to see so many people hating Pizza Hut’s latest announcement.

NEWS: National Hurricane Center Names Tropical Storm Francine, Set To Make Landfall This Week as Hurricane

UPDATE: As of 4:00AM CT/5:00AM EST on September 11th, the National Hurricane Center (NHC)  has classified this system as HURRICANE FRANCINE. 

September has begun and with it could bring some tropical weather.

September is the first month of fall, but it’s still part of hurricane season. The National Hurricane Center has been tracking a potential tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico, which continues to build. Luckily, Florida will be in the clear this time, but Texas and Louisiana will likely not be so lucky.
