We’re soaring, flying!

When you’re flying, sometimes it’s hard to keep track of what exactly you need to do during your security screening.
This is especially true now that some long-standing TSA rules are changing, such as not taking off your shoes anymore, but rules still vary from airport to airport. At some airports, you don’t need to take anything out of your bag, including liquids and electronics, while at others, those rules still apply. However, one thing is for sure — you CANNOT travel with this one hair tool, and if you do, you could be fined THOUSANDS of dollars.
According to Travel Off Path, beginning October 12th, 2025, Americans traveling to Europe will be required to be photographed and fingerprinted. Europe’s new Entry-Exit-System will be debuting on October 12th, and it will result in some changes for Americans traveling to and from Europe.
This new system will eventually replace the manual passport stamping process and make it easier for border officers to catch anyone who is overstaying. American travelers can only stay in the Schengen Area — Europe’s border-free 29-country customs union for 90 days out of every 180-day period. This new system will make it easier to ensure travelers comply with the policy.
Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is way more than just a hotel (but when has Disney EVER made a resort that was JUST a hotel). It’s an entire experience located in Hawaii with great food, fun activities, recreation, character interactions, and so much more.
We’ve had a chance to visit Aulani, and there was SO much to do, and we can’t wait until we can go back. Well, the universe might be telling us something because Disney just dropped two NEW discounts for a stay at Aulani, so if you’ve been thinking about booking that trip to Hawaii, here’s your excuse!
Spirit Airlines has been struggling a bit since it filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last year. Since then, it recently filed for bankruptcy a second time.
As a result, the airline has been taking a hard look at the cities it serves and has already cut many routes to popular cities. Recently, though, the airline announced it would be cutting even MORE routes to popular cities, according to CBS News.
Flying comes with a lot of challenges, especially when flights get disrupted, which happens, well…a lot.
Now, flight delays for weather are pretty normal, and those can’t be controlled, but we’ve recently seen flight delays due to other issues, many of which could be the fault of the airlines. In 2024, President Joe Biden backed a plan that would see passengers compensated for controllable cancellations or delays of three hours or more. Well, that plan has officially been scrapped by the current administration, according to Reuters.
Many travel trends can often lead to some really great tips that make the whole experience easier. With that said, there are some that we could easily do without.
Air travel is stressful enough with security lines, overpriced eats, strict timelines, and managing fatigue. But there’s one travel trend that makes the whole experience worse — and honestly, it’s time for it to go.
Okay, we know, we’re all getting a little tired of hearing about how much Southwest Airlines is changing. The days of open seating and bags fly free are over (and yes, many of us are still salty about that).
But Southwest continues to make changes, tweaking things here and there, and more. The airline just made another big change to its planes…but this change is meant to keep Southwest’s passengers safer. According to USA Today, Southwest Airlines has just flown its first flight with a secondary cockpit barrier.
Who’s ready for a big vacation?

Let’s fly!
A major change is coming to Southwest Airlines! Southwest is getting its first new international destination since 2021, and it’s flying out of Orlando, Florida. Let’s take a look at all the details!
Airplane schedules are changing all the time, and if you’re flying to Florida, it can be frustrating trying to keep up with all the changes.
Of course, some of those changes are good, like when more nonstop flights get added to Orlando International Airport, making getting to Disney World and Universal Orlando a lot easier. But sometimes, flights get cut, meaning you’ll have to search a little harder for a nonstop flight to your destination. Well, one budget airline, JetBlue, just cut flights to two airports, including a Florida city.
