We’ve seen ears to celebrate our favorite Disney rides, ears inspired by our favorite hotels, and Halloween ears to get us excited for the upcoming spooky season. And now, we just spotted some new ears in Disney World that you have to see! (As Disney food fans, we’re especially excited about these!)
If you’ve been to Disney’s BoardWalk recently, you may have noticed some demolition going on over there. The ESPN Club has closed, and Disney has been taking down the signs and previous decorations in that area. So what’s going to fill that space now? Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long for the answer!
Cakes at the Cake Bake Shop
The Cake Bake Shop, owned by Gwendolyn Rogers, is going to fill at least part of the space where the ESPN club used to be! Disney previously announced that this restaurant would come to Disney’s BoardWalk, and now it’s exciting to know exactly where it will be. But what else can we expect when this spot opens? Flying in the United States hasn’t been easy lately.
Thousands of flights have been canceled in recent months
There have been many delays, cancellations, and staffing shortages. Some airlines are canceling routes altogether, while others are adding in new routes. And, there are some newer airlines entering the market as well. We’ve been keeping an eye on the fight between JetBlue Airways and Frontier Airlines to buy Spirit Airlines, and it looks like we might finally have a winner.
MagicBand+ has officially debuted in Disney World and we’re testing out everything the new features have to offer!

Between the Fab 50 Character Statues, Batuu Bounty Hunters, and more — MagicBand+ promises interaction like we’ve never seen with MagicBands before. We had the chance to test out some of the new features in person after we snagged one of the accidentally released bands, but now that MagicBand+ has officially debuted there’s even more to explore. So, it’s time to take a look at how MagicBand+ interacts with Enchantment — the Magic Kingdom fireworks show!

We had seen some previews and in-person interactions here and there, but now that the MagicBand+ has made its official debut, we’re testing all the new features. And now, it’s time to see some of those features in action because we’re sharing how MagicBand+ interacts with EPCOT’s fireworks show, Harmonious!

Between delays, lost luggage woes, staffing issues, and more, flying could be complicated for several more months and potentially another year. But the complications don’t end on the consumer side. When it comes to the major airlines making your trips possible, there have been some potential deals underway with complications of their own and now we’ve got an update about a HUGE merger that was in the works.
International travel can be tricky right now, especially with how flying has been going lately.

Many flights have been delayed or canceled, but if you can get a flight to international destinations like those in Europe, the prices are pretty good at the moment! We’ve seen a lot of airlines making moves like potential mergers or adding routes, and now, it’s about to get easier to travel between the U.S. and Canada!
Today is a very big day in Disney World! Why? MagicBand+ has finally been released!

We’ve already brought you information about how the new MagicBand+ will be priced (and how you can get a discount on it, too!), plus details about how to set up your new band, and how you can use the MagicBand+ in the parks. One of the new features of MagicBand+ is a game called Batuu Bounty Hunters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, we’re heading over to the park to give it a try!
