The Epcot International Festival of the Arts will return in 2018, running from January 12 through February 19, 2018!
This new Epcot Festival made its debut in 2017, celebrating three artistic disciplines: Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts.
In 2017, the Festival of the Arts ran Fridays through Mondays only, but in 2018 the Festival will run 7 days a week! Once again, though, entertainment offerings will change every weekend! So be sure to pick up a Festival of the Arts Passport for details during your specific visit.
The Festival of the Arts will feature Food Studios located around Epcot’s World Showcase! Much like the Marketplace Booths for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, the Food Studios bring enhanced food offerings to Festival guests.
Unique to the Festival of the Arts is a focus on presentation for the dishes.
Many of the items are their own works of art!
We can’t wait to see what the Chefs come up with for the 2018 Festival of the Arts!
In the meantime, check out the Food Studio menus — along with pictures of all the items with prices — from 2017 here!
Epcot will be bursting with live performances and acts to celebrate the Performing Arts! Be sure to refer to the Event Guide at Epcot during your specific visit, as each weekend will offer new experiences.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series
The Disney on Broadway Concert Series features performances by some of Broadway’s most accomplished actors and actresses singing some of Disney’s most beloved songs. In 2017, showtimes were 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm, and 8:00 pm at the America Gardens Theatre.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages were also available for guests wishing to pair breakfast, lunch, or dinner at a participating Epcot restaurant with reserved seating for the 8:00 pm show.

Additional entertainment in 2017 featured the tops in area talent at the Community Arts Showcase at the Future World Fountain Stage and Plaza, with a wide variety of choirs, marching bands, and more groups local to Central Florida. An a cappella pop group, American Music Machine, was part of the lineup as well.
Guests also viewed the creative process live through Art in Performance, from chalk artists to living art statues.
Stay tuned as we find out more about how the Performing Arts will be represented in 2018!
The Visual Arts will be celebrated throughout Epcot in a myriad of Exhibits, Seminars, and hands-on experiences, along with a few more artistic touches along the way! Be sure to pick up and refer to the Festival of the Arts Passport at Epcot during your specific visit, as each weekend will offer new experiences.

Pavilions around Epcot showcased displays and galleries reflecting various themes. For instance, guests could learn about Japan’s “kawaii,” or “cute culture” at the Bijutsu-kan Gallery in Japan, or check out the Walking Chalk Gallery — where artists recreated famous art pieces in chalk — in World Showcase.

Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt
Are you bringing a little budding artist to the Festival of the Arts? In 2017, children (and adults!) were able to search for Figment by following clues provided through paintings strategically located around World Showcase.
Guests visited Pin Central, Disney Traders, or World Traveler to purchase a map and begin their search. Upon completing the scavenger hunt, guests could head to Disney Traders with their completed map and receive a surprise!
In 2017, Disney artists led drawing classes — check your Event Guide for more information!

Leave your own artistic mark on Epcot!
In 2017, the Interactive Wall Mural at World Showcase Plaza gave guests the chance to paint their own small section of an interactive mural that was complete by the end of the weekend!
