In case you missed the memo, there’s basically a Food Festival happening over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom right now!

The Animal Kingdom’s Tasting Sampler has returned for a third run this winter.
Here’s the 411. The Tasting Sampler costs $50.00 and includes two digital value cards: One $50 card that can be used at over 40 outdoor food and beverage locations throughout the park (and does not expire), and a bonus $10.00 that can be used at the following quick-service restaurants after 4:00 PM from December 22, 2019 through January 4, 2020: Restaurantosaurus, Pizzafari, Flame Tree Barbecue, and Satu’li Canteen.

This year, we see several new items join the lineup, as well as returning items and menu mainstays that are also a part of the official sampling menu.

The Dino Diner over in DinoLand U.S.A. is participating in the sampler with a brand new item, Chips and Queso! You already know we LOVE us some chips and dip.

The Chips and Queso is priced at 4.99 and featured on the menu alongside the mainstays.

We were served basic white queso and standard bagged chips.

But hey, we can’t complain with this one! The queso was a VERY generous portion for the price and had a nice little kick.

We think this is a solid addition to the Tasting Sample and of very good value! You NEVER know when that craving for chips and queso may strike..right?
