We’re back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
It’s time to lace up your hiking boots and go on a trek with us as we spot all the changes that have been happening since our last visit! Let’s get moving!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Attraction Updates
First off, we had the pleasure of running into a newborn babirusa! She was on exhibit for her first time in the front of the park!
She’s only three months old and her name is Kirana — we rather like that name! Welcome to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Baby Kirana!!! We’re glad you’ve arrived!
Rivers of Light
Over by the Rivers of Light seating area, we noticed the shaman boats have now been completely removed from the docks.
Disney World is working on quite a few construction projects at the moment, but this one missed our radar completely until yesterday. A new structure has been freshly built on the savanna! We wonder what it could BE?!
The building can be seen near the end of the safari ride. It’s placed in plain view of guests riding the attraction. We’ll continue to monitor its progress and let you know if we find out what it’ll be used for!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Food Updates
Pandora: The World of Avatar
If you work up a mighty thirst after soaring on the back of a banshee, check out Pandora’s ice cream cart! They’ve just added Angry Orchard to their assortment of liquid refreshments!
Cans of the hard cider will cost ya $9.75! Of course, you could also hop over to Satu’li Canteen and get a pint of Pandora’s exclusive Mo’ara High Country Ale on draft for $9.25 if you wanna be thrifty and try something a little more unique!
Merchandise Update at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Pin Boards (Various Locations)
Attention all pin traders! We’ve got some important pin board updates to share with you! The DinoLand pin board which was previously located next to Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures has been relocated to the Dino Institute Shop — that’s the gift shop you’ll exit through after riding Dinosaur!
Here’s what the DinoLand pin board had “in stock!”
Good news! Pandora has also added a new board this week! You’ll find it right outside of Windtraders — that’s the shop you’ll walk through as you exit Flight of Passage!
Just think of all the pin trading possibilities a whole new pin board opens up! We’re excited for our pin trading friends who now have lots more swapping options!
Discovery Trading Co.
Halloween merchandise officially arrived at Disney World this week! World of Disney has had the biggest selection we’ve seen so far, but Animal Kingdom was well-stocked too!
Animal Kingdom is also offering the limited-time Halloween tote deal! Buy any merch, and you can get a tote for $19.99!
Here’s what the GOURD-GEOUS new Halloween tote looks like! Isn’t it a scream?
We’ve also seen a bunch of Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise flood the parks this week! We hit the Jack Skellington jackpot at Disney’s Hollywood Studios a few days ago, but today we found a new Jack cardholder for $14.99!
We love how the Pumpkin King’s face is printed all over it! He’s very expressive for a skeleton, don’t ya think?!
We were so hoping to cross paths with the new Leopard Print Loungefly backpack, and luckily we SPOTTED IT! 😉
The gorgeous bag is encrusted in gold, brown, and black sequins and it’s a leopard print-lovers new BFF! Pick one up for $90!
Yak and Yeti Bhaktapur Market
Over in Asia, we found some items we can’t even find in our grocery stores back home! To-go packs of Clorox disinfecting wipes and even spray hand sanitizer were being sold for some very reasonable prices! A pack of wipes only cost us $2.49!
If you’ve been trying to get these cleaning supplies online, you know that’s a pretty good deal! It’s also reassuring to know if we run out of the wipes and hand sanitizer we brought with us, we can now buy some more inside Disney World — that’s if it doesn’t blow off the shelves before we need to restock!
Read more about the hotbed of cleaning supply activity we found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom yesterday!
One things for sure — we’ll be stocking up on pre-packaged candy with this SWEET deal we spotted!
Most boxes of candy were buy one, get one 50% off! We’re going to have to come back with a bigger bag to carry around our sweets later this week!
We couldn’t believe it when we spotted even more new Pandora merch! Check out this new kids’ Pandora tank for $24.99!
And for the ladies, we spotted this new Pandora ringer tee for $36.99! We’d love to sivako with this cute top!
This new drawstring Pandora bag for $24.99 is perfect for stowing your valuables while you’re riding Flight of Passage!
Last but not least, we also discovered this new Pandora reusable bag for $5.99!
