It’s been a busy week at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom!
We spotted more construction work, Halloween decorations, returning snacks, and Disney merch FOR DAYS! Let’s take a look at everything new in the Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom Food Update
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
We spotted quite a few returning treats this go around! A couple of them were found in unexpected places. The Space Ranger Slushy is usually found at The Lunching Pad. The quick-service location is temporarily closed so this snack was missing for a while. Now it’s back but in a new location. We discovered the grape and green apple slush at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies!
And yes, the straw is still coated in candy!
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
The crowd-favorite Cheshire Cat Tail was also missing upon reopening. Never fear! Although the Cheshire Cafe is still closed, you can get this chocolate croissant at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe for now!
The Cheshire Cat Tail is available on Mobile Order for this quick-service restaurant!
Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace
The elusive Kakamora Float and “I Lava You Float” have made their returns too! You can find the Moana-inspired Kakamora Float at Aloha Isle Refreshments and the “I Lava You” Float at Sunshine Tree Terrace!
You’ll want to see these beautiful ice cream floats up close!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
TRON Lightcycle Run
TRON Lightcycle Run is a rollercoaster that will be based on the Disney movie, TRON. This attraction has seen a steady progression since the park reopened. We got another look at the construction this week! While riding the monorail, we spotted painted blue walls being installed around the coaster’s indoor structure. Things are movin’ right along!
Magic Kingdom Attraction Update
“it’s a small world”
New physical distance barriers were installed in the line at “it’s a small world” recently.
Disney World’s new health and safety regulations call for physical distancing in public. This attraction queue is particularly tight so Disney installed plastic windows to create a barrier between guests.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
Some Halloween decorations have arrived at the Magic Kingdom! We saw Magician Mickey and Halloween Minnie peeking out of the new window displays!
We’re keeping an eye out for more fall decorations at the Magic Kingdom!
This festive cutie is the perfect addition to your Halloween gear!
Need more MagicBands to add to your collection? We also spotted a new EPCOT Park Life band AND an Adventureland band!
Orange Bird fans, look closely! You can see the cute l’il bird flying high over a Jungle Cruise riverboat!
Ok, fine. We admit it. It’s kinda cute!
Ready for more new merch? We got a TON for ya! Let’s start with the slew of NBA merchandise that showed up at the Emporium. You can now get NBA branded t-shirts, tanks, and even basketballs at Disney World. Disney has been showing a lot of appreciation for the NBA since the teams moved into Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
Next up, a Marvel-themed MagicBand! We saw this Spider-Man band at the Emporium and Frontierland Trading Post for $24.99.
Jungle Cruise Wishables were here too! We recently saw them at Disneyland Resort and now they’ve finally been restocked at the Magic Kingdom! You can get the Wishables for $9.99.
They’re pretty cute, right?
Want to see something else that will melt your heart? Check out these new denim plushes of Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, and Angel! Each one costs $29.99.
This new leopard print fanny pack we found is a tribute to the 90s! It’s the perfect choice for adventuring to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The stylish bag is $24.99.
We seriously can’t get enough of ALL the Haunted Mansion merchandise that Disney has released lately. We found the new Hitchhiking Ghosts ornament for $24.99…
… and spotted the Haunted Mansion Wallpaper Dress.
Plus, we found a Haunted Mansion Wallpaper coffee mug!
There’s SO much more spooky merch where that came from!
Parasols and Portraits
Parasol painting, portraits, and caricatures are BACK at the Magic Kingdom! The artists were on a hiatus once the park’s closed. Now, some of them have returned and are creating gorgeous souvenirs for Disney World guests!
Do you love getting portraits done at the Magic Kingdom? Or are you the parasol type?
There you have it! Another week at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World. We’ll keep coming back to check out the new construction, food, and Halloween updates. Until next time!
