We hope you’ve got your sweet tooth ready!
The end of the holiday season means that we have the bad news of having to say bye to our favorite holiday treats. But, the good news is we get to kick-off 2021 with the return of several favorites! We’ve welcomed back the Kakamora Float and the Wookie Cookie, and now it’s time to say “OMG we missed you,” to another beloved eat!
We swung by Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom to see if we would find a dessert we’ve been missing. Sure enough, the menu shows us the return of The Grey Stuff Cupcake (now just known as The Grey Stuff).
This treat was introduced back in September as a special offering and while it’s not the same Grey Stuff offering currently being served at Be Our Guest Restaurant, it’s Grey Stuff without the pricey reservation nonetheless. It disappeared to make way for the holiday-exclusive Belle’s Enchanted Christmas Tree. But it’s BACK!
This treat is Grey Stuff atop a chocolate cake base with candy pearls and a chocolate square for decoration. It’s cute and it’s so, so, so good.
It’s available right now over at Gaston’s Tavern for $5.49 so scurry on over if you want to get a taste of this treat.
We’re bringing you ALL the New Year’s Day updates today, so stay tuned to DFB to keep in the loop!

What do you think of The Grey Stuff? Tell us in the comments!
My granddaughter, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the “Grey Stuff!” It was more than delicious!
The recipe calls for crumbled cookies and cream cookies, but the grey stuff we had at our Be Our Guest dinner was so creamy smooth without a hint of crumbled cookies. Is the recipe wrong???
Hi Susie! It may help to put the cookies in a food processor to get them as fine and powdery as you possibly can to avoid larger chunks of crumbled cookie.
