Let’s take a trip down memory lane! We created a video with the best 25 Disney snacks of 2021, but we wanted to know which one was ACTUALLY the best. So we asked our DFB readers to vote on Instagram, of course! It’s been a long road, and now we’ve made it to the final round.
We started out with 25 iconic park snacks, like the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich from L’Artisan des Glaces and the Pongu Lumpia from Pongu Pongu. Little by little, you guys whittled down our options until we were left with the FINAL two.

So who made it to the finals? In one corner we have the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse. And in the other…the Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern!

We were honestly SHOCKED that the iconic Gideon’s cookie made it all the way to the last round. Gideon’s Bakehouse is brand-new, but apparently our readers already love it as much as we do.

Gideon’s, Gideon’s, Gideon’s,… that’s all I ever hear from DFB. you you own a piece of this store…? For those of us with Suger (diabetes), Gideon’s means nothing. Get off it and move on…
Never understood the attraction of that cinnamon roll. We tried it once and will never eat it again. It was terrible. Weird flavor. The two of them ended up in the trash.
Not surprised. Excellent choice. In the past few years we have barley visited Disney Springs because Ghirardelli dropped their colossal cookie. It was similar to Gideon’s however slightly larger and without the layer of chips on the outside. You could ask to have it heated up and served with a glass of milk. We used to make trips to Disney springs to just get that cookie! Colossal mistake for Ghirardelli to replace it with a smaller, thinner, harder boring cookie. The parking lots were also revamped with the new Ramps so it’s not as easy as it used to be to drive over to ‘downtown disney’* and park close to the east side just to stop in for that cookie! (*It hasn’t been named that since they lost the colossal cookie and hasn’t been the same ever since!). Where else can one find such a culinary masterpiece? 🙂
