We spent our day yesterday checking out some interesting developments.
Stroll around Downtown Disney in Disneyland Resort with us to see allllll of the latest news when it comes to food, construction, and merchandise!
Downtown Disney Food Updates
First up at Trolley Treats, we spotted that they have the pie-shaped Cookie and Cream Rice Krispie Treat for $5.49.
We spotted this yummy treat in Disney World already and it seriously WOWED us.
This spot also had another treat that we’ve seen in Disney World…
…it’s the Pineapple Mickey Cookie for $5.49.
But the most exciting treat in Downtown Disney yesterday HAD To be the Snickerdoodle Glazed Beignets at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen Express. Yep, you read that right. SNICKERDOODLE BEIGNETS.
These are available for $11.49 and they are a DELIGHT.
Downtown Disney Construction Updates
Newly Opened Stores
Downtown Disney was pretty busy while we were there! Every store had long standby lines and several had virtual queues.
We noticed that the newly opened Star Wars Trading Post had a long virtual queue…
…as did the recently reopened WonderGround Gallery.
Guess what? Construction was going on at Avengers Campus while we were there! We were able to snag some new pictures of the latest progress.
It’s pretty difficult to see exactly what’s going on, but we definitely spotted some new touches being added to the outside of the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure attraction.
Downtown Disney Merchandise Updates
World of Disney
Now, on to the merch! We spotted these cool Mickey and Minnie Corksicle Bottles for $39.99 each.
World of Disney also had the new Castle AirPods Pro Case for $19.99. As a note, there’s a regular AirPods case too but it was out of stock.
We’ve seen them in Disney World, but now Disneyland has the new Blue/Grey Mickey Phone Case and Pink/Grey Minnie Phone Case for $24.99 each.
Just like in Disney World, Downtown Disney has seen an EXPLOSION of Raya and the Last Dragon merchandise ahead of the film’s release next month. We spotted lots of kids’ apparel like t-shirts ranging from $19.99 to $24.99 and a sweatshirt for $39.99.
