This is NOT a drill: Disneyland just dropped a TON on info ahead of their park reopening on April 30th! 🥳
In addition to letting us know which restaurants and rides will be reopening with the park, we also got news on the specifics of park tickets — and one very important feature that wasn’t present when Disney World first reopened.
That’s right, park hopping is coming BACK to Disneyland, baby!
If you are ready to Park Hop Til You Drop, the good news is: you can! Along with details on how to secure park reservations, Disneyland announced today that the park hop option will be available to those who have park hopper tickets.
Similar to how it is currently functioning in Disney World, guests will make their park reservation for the first park they want to visit, and then can hop to the other park at 1PM, if available. Remember: Guests with multi-day tickets will be required to make a separate park reservation for each day they plan to visit the theme parks.
So, you can start the morning in California Adventure and say hi to Radiator Springs, and then…
…pop on over to visit the castle! Oh, how we’ve missed that view. Remember that park availability is subject to change, and no one is guaranteed to get into the parks. But it’s exciting that park hopping is going to be available right off the bat!
Currently, both parks are scheduled to be open from 9AM to 7PM each day, and you can start making park reservations as soon as April 12th. We’re so excited to be one step closer to Disneyland’s reopening, and we’ll be sure to keep our ears out for all the latest updates over the next couple of weeks!
Don’t forget — there’s a ride with brand new features opening with Disneyland on April 30th!

The only issue is that both parks will be closing at 7:00 pm (Disneyland usually close at midnight, California Adventure closes at 10:00 pm), so it will be hard to see and do everything in just one visit. Hopefully with limited capacity the lines won’t be long and you can get through rides, restaurants, and shops much faster and be able to ride most of the rides that are open.
