Disney Recipe: Soul-Inspired NYC Pizza!

Pixar posted another recipe inspired by the movie Soul on Instagram recently! Don’t worry, you’ll be able to taste it! 😉

This Instagram recipe is for a NYC-style pepperoni pizza that you’ll be able to make and enjoy with the whole family! With a prep time of 15 minutes and a cook time of another 15 minutes, you’ll be satisfying your own soul with pizza in no time!

Ingredients:

Pizza dough
Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Pepperoni slices
Pizza sauce
Fresh basil leaves
Kitchen scissors
Small paring knife

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare and preheat the oven according to pizza dough package instructions.

Step 2: Knead and roll out pizza dough to about 1/2 inch in a circular shape. If you wanna try something a little more adventurous, you can hand-toss it!

Step 3: Pour the pizza sauce into the center of the pizza dough and spread evenly, leaving about an inch for the crust,

Step 4: Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.

Step 5: Cover pizza with pepperoni slices.

Step 6: Place basil leaves on top.

Step 7: Bake pizza until crust is golden, about 10-15 minutes. The crust should be thick and crispy along the edge, but thin and soft under the toppings so you can fold it.

Step 8: Let cool, cut into wide slices, and enjoy!
