SO much is happening right now at Disneyland. It wasn’t even that long ago when the resort reopened, but since then, we’ve also seen the reopenings of several restaurants, and the grand opening of Avengers Campus!

But updates continue to happen at Disneyland and now there’s been a HUGE update about who can actually visit the parks!
Previously, Disneyland Resort was only open to residents of California. Other theme parks in the area, though, like Universal Studios Hollywood, allowed guests from out-of-state, as long as they could provide proof that they were fully vaccinated according to the state of California’s regulations.
However, we recently learned that Disneyland would begin to allow out-of-state guests as of June 15th — that’s today. Out-of-state visitors are not required to be vaccinated, but the State of California does recommend vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
Today was one of the busiest days we’ve seen since Disneyland’s reopening with HUGE crowds heading into Disneyland. Along with the temperature checks being removed today, masks have also been made optional in most locations as well.
Disney California Adventure was considerably less crowded than Disneyland Park, but there were still plenty of visitors heading into the park.
As we continue to make our way around the parks today, we’ll give you a look at the crowds we spot around the Disneyland Resort. And, we’ll keep you updated on everything you need to know about Disneyland, so stay tuned with DFB for more details!

Going there this weekend from Arizona!
My fiancée and I are thinking about booking a trip to Disneyland for our honeymoon in August. We are from our of state and read that as of June 15th, out of state visitors were allowed again. However, on the Disneyland webpage, it still says California residents only (July 18, 2021). Has there been another update since June 15, 2021? Thanks!
Hi, Sabrina. Disneyland Resort is allowing out of state visitors.
