EPCOT has been undergoing a HUGE transformation over the past few years.
There are new rides coming like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, new attractions like Journey of Water, a new flagship store replacing the old Mouse Gear, new neighborhoods being created, and so much more! The transformation does not have an official end date and it feels like there’s been construction walls up in EPCOT forever (like a long time, not like the fireworks show!). But, today we found something NEW that’s getting us excited for the future of the park!
There’s a new EPCOT map in town!
Here’s a look at the previous map:
The EPCOT map got an update with a new cover, and a few other changes like information on the back about festivals, COVID-19, and My Disney Experience.
You can also find this tips and information page, as well as information on the EPCOT Experience.
On the inside, you’ll find the map of EPCOT.
Notice that the opening date of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure (October 1st) is now on the map. It previously just said 2021.
This has been on the map, but just as a note: In the bottom left of the map, you can see where Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be located and the Play! Pavilion — both are currently under construction.
To the right of the map, you’ll find an organized list of absolutely everything in the park.
But, we did notice something missing — Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 is no longer listed under Attractions in the World Showcase. The show recently closed and we do not know what Disney’s plans are for the attraction yet. Most likely, the space will be used temporarily for Food and Wine and then will be back to business as usual. But we will let you know if anything changes.
Hopefully, we should see some more updates to the map coming soon as EPCOT continues to make progress on its big makeover! We’ll keep you updated with any changes we see, so stay tuned to DFB!
