Last year, large layoffs impacted a multitude of Cast Members in the Disney parks, including a number of fan-favorite performers.

One of the individuals that was laid off last year was Yehaa Bob Jackson, a performer that fans used to be able to watch over at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside. But now, Yehaa Bob has announced that he’ll be coming back to Disney World very soon!
According to a video posted on Facebook by Yehaa Bob’s Jackson, Disney called him recently and told him he’d be returning to the stage October 14th, which is the reopening date for Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside!

Jackson said the Disney Cast Member he spoke to indicated he would be back for his regular hours — 8:30 PM to about midnight. He said he’ll be performing on the 14th and 15th, but on the 16th he has a prior engagement he has to attend to and wouldn’t be performing.

After that, he said the Cast Member he spoke to wasn’t sure what his “regular” days would be. Jackson noted that previously he would work Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. He said he assumes it might be the same, but shared that his schedule could also be different.
He said he also plans on keeping the Sunday night show going, which is something he does virtually.
