Tonight is a bittersweet night for fans of Happily Ever After. While fans look forward to the new fireworks spectacular Disney Enchantment, premiering this week for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, that means that we have to bid a fond farewell to Happily Ever After, the resident fireworks show in Magic Kingdom.
If you were thinking of heading to Magic Kingdom to watch the final performance and you aren’t already in the park, you may want to make your way over there NOW.
Take a look at the crowds forming around Cinderella Castle!
As of this writing, the hub area is pretty full, but you may still find a spot along Main Street, U.S.A..
Happily Ever After starts its final performance at 8:15PM this evening, so there is still a little bit of time left to reach Magic Kingdom. Once you’re in the park, however, you may have a hard time finding a place to stand.
While you wait, Cast Members are coming around with special photo ops to commemorate the final performance of Happily Ever After.
Here’s what the crowds looked like once it got dark and showtime grew near:
It definitely got busier as we got closer to the start of the show!
Here’s a look from a different angle on Main Street, U.S.A.
It looks like LOTS of Disney fans arrived in those last few minutes before showtime!
This is a pretty big night, after all!
And, of course, after the show is over, the crowd will all need a place to go as they exit!
We hope those in attendance enjoy the final performance of Happily Ever After! We will be going LIVE tonight, so be sure to check our Facebook to watch with us if you aren’t in Disney World. And be sure to follow along as we cover the new fireworks spectaculars Disney Enchantment and Harmonious, along with all of the other new offerings as part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration!
