The park has already gotten new entrance music, new flags, a new Leave a Legacy display, new nighttime lights, a new flagship store, a revitalized Club Cool, and more. Now, one more new thing has arrived in EPCOT — a brand new fireworks spectacular called Harmonious. But, just how bad are the crowds on Harmonious’ opening night? Today, we made our way to EPCOT to find out!
Starting on September 29th, EPCOT’s brand new fireworks show, Harmonious, became available for fans to enjoy, but its official debut is on October 1st. Harmonious is a new nighttime spectacular that takes place on and over World Showcase Lagoon. The nighttime show will feature fireworks, projections, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights and lasers.
Harmonious will also feature classic Disney music reinterpreted and presented by diverse cultural musicians from around the world.
Tonight, we made our way to EPCOT for Harmonious’ opening night to see just what the crowds looked like.
As we approached World Showcase, we could see crowds forming around World Showcase Lagoon.
We looked around the Japan Pavilion for a spot, and noticed crowds forming there as well.
We noticed that the crowds were already a couple of rows deep, with Cast Members blocking out certain areas to remain walkways.
Here’s another look at the crowds!
We’ll be sharing more updates about Harmonious and all of the other things taking place around EPCOT, so be sure to check back with us for more updates!
