Dates Announced: When You Can Watch the Christmas Parade During the DAY in Disney World

We haven’t seen a daytime parade at Disney World since the parks closed in 2020. Sure, we had cavalcades, but full-blown parades during the day? Nope.

But this year has brought the return of entertainment, fireworks, and more back to the parks. And one parade, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime, DID return for guests with tickets to the Disney Very Merriest After Hours parties. BUT…soon, ALL Disney World guests visiting Magic Kingdom will get to see that parade!

First off, a huge thanks to DFB reader Joe, (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for the heads up! According to the Disney World calendar, Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade will return for all Magic Kingdom guests at 12PM and 3:45PM on December 22nd-29th and at 12PM and 3:30PM on December 30th-31st.

Disney has already confirmed that the Festival of Fantasy parade would return to Magic Kingdom in 2022, but this is the first news we’ve seen of the Christmas parade happening outside of the after hours party this year. So if you’ll be spending some time during the holidays at Disney World, be sure to double-check the times for the parade either on the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app.
