If you’re planning to go to Disney World sometime this year, we bet you’re making a list of what tasty food you want to try!
And, a list is a good idea, because there are SO many different food items to choose from. Between the new restaurants, seasonal snacks, menu changes, and EPCOT festivals, it might seem like your list is just getting longer and longer. But, we’re here to help you narrow it down!
Here’s our FULL list of the must-get Disney World dishes and snacks for 2022!
NEW Dishes and Restaurants
We’ll start off with some of the newer dishes and restaurants that arrived in Disney World last year that you might not have had the chance to try yet!
Space 220
Space 220 opened in EPCOT in 2021. A visit to this new spot involves a trip on a space elevator(!!) and some awesome atmosphere all around. But, there are some seriously delicious dishes to get here too. We’ve eaten EVERYTHING (literally, EVERY. SINGLE. THING.) on the menus here. The two items we’d highly recommend you get in 2022 are the Blue Moon Cauliflower (seriously, SUCH an epic appetizer)…
…and the 1.5 lbs Baked Whole Lobster Stuffed with Jumbo Crab (an additional cost of $20, offered only at dinner).
Want more Space 220 details? Check out our FULL review of the lunch menu, full review of the dinner menu, and full review of the lounge! Space 220 actually added even more items to their menu back in March, and we tried them out so you can know what’s worth your time and money.

Steakhouse 71
Over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort you’ll find the NEW Steakhouse 71 (the replacement for The Wave…of American Flavors). You can grab a number of dishes from this new spot (or its lounge) but our 2 main picks are the French Onion Soup (seriously PACKED with flavor and one of the best we’ve had in Disney World recently)…
…and the Stack Burger (it’s a burger topped with pork belly and lots of cheese, it’s greasy and WONDERFUL).

Aloha Isle
Aloha Isle (also in Magic Kingdom) is home to DOLE Whips (not a new treat, but another must-get), but this year it also got a special new 50th Anniversary treat that we’ve really enjoyed. The Tropical Serenade has successfully serenaded us and become a must-get treat in our opinion!
This wonderful treat is made of POG juice, coconut soft serve, and a pineapple upside-down cake pop. It’s tropical, tasty, and a total win!
Check out our full review of this treat here!
Spring Roll Cart
The Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom is another spot with some old favorites, but it’s also home to the new 50th Anniversary Celebration Spring Roll, and believe us when we say this is one you won’t want to miss.
This new spring roll features pastrami and pepper jack with a mustard dipping sauce. If you love pastrami, we think this is one you’ll love!
Get all the details on these new spring rolls here!
Gideon’s Bakehouse
It feels like we’ve been talking about the famously enormous cookies from Gideon’s Bakehouse for ages, but the Disney Springs location of this popular spot has been open for just about a year and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
While there are so many delicious things to eat here, we’d like to highlight (1) the Peanut Butter Cold Brew Coffee (if you love peanut butter and want a coffee that’s right down the middle in terms of strength and sweetness, this is IT)…
…and (2) the GIANT cookies. Everyone seems to have their own favorite. For some of our reporters, the morning-exclusive Coffee Cake Cookie is the go-to — crumbly, not too sweet, gooey, and wonderful! (Though note that one member of our team is not a fan — you can’t win ’em all!)
There are lots of cookie (and giant cake slice!) flavors to pick from though. Which one is your favorite?

Everglazed
Also relatively new to Disney Springs is Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew. We’ve enjoyed a number of their donuts (though they can be pricey), but if we had to pick 1 must-get item from this spot we’d recommend The Grilled Cheeeeeese (it’s actually spelled that way!) on a glazed donut.
It might sound weird, but it TOTALLY works. Salty cheese + sweet donut = one magical treat. It’s something we think you’ll get once and then dream about in the future.
Check out our full review of Everglazed here!
La Crêperie de Paris
Finally, we end our “new” category with La Crêperie de Paris and its to-go option Crêpes À Emporter in EPCOT. These spots opened up in 2021 in the expanded France area, close to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
From to to-go section (Crêpes À Emporter), our picks would probably be the Cream of Brie Cheese Galette…
…or the Bechamel, Cheese, and Ham Galette (you know we love our cheese!).
From the sit-down restaurant, the Savoyarde Galette is a good pick for those who love caramelized onions (Raclette cheese, onions, and imported Bayonne Ham), but it all depends on your tastes. If you’re looking for more of a fish-based option they have that, and there are other picks there too.

The Yachtman’s Steakhouse has an outstanding offering of steaks and accompaniments. Yes, it’s over the top expensive, but we went back every year. Not only is the food fabulous, but the servers are excellent. If you go, ask for the best server we have ever had, Tall John the Runner. Enjoy.
Can you still get the greystuff at Gaston’s tavern during the 50th celebration. On the my Disney app Gaston menu I don’t see it going in twenty days and it’s one of my favorites !
John, currently we’re not seeing it on the menu in the Park either (one of our reporters checked earlier today).
I cant seem to find the pdf for this video. Would someone plese point me in the right direction?
TIA
