We know we’re always talking about our favorite foods at the Disney theme parks, BUT did you know many of our favorite snacks don’t even require a park ticket?!
‘Ohana means family, so we’re not leaving anyone behind and heading to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to chow down — TOGETHER!
And since we’re looking to feed our whole crew, we’re heading back to ‘Ohana to fill up with their all-you-care-to-eat dinner. Our past few trips have varied wildly food-wise, even though the atmosphere is consistently spot-on. So we’re back to give the entrees another shot and find out if this restaurant is worth adding to your must do Walt Disney World list (and because you KNOW we can’t resist their bread pudding!).
We hope you’re sitting down because it’s with heavy hearts and shaking hands that we type out these SAD words…
The much-beloved $5 Noodles from Tambu Lounge are NO MORE. Haven’t got a clue what we’re talkin’ about? Gather near to us DFB fam, and we will tell you a tale of the golden, glistening Teriyaki Noodles for $5… that WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to ‘Ohana, a spot is known for its character breakfast in the mornings and its all-you-care-to-enjoy feast in the evenings featuring grilled meats accompanied by pork dumplings and chicken wings, all followed up with ‘Ohana Bread Pudding.
One of the traditional accompaniments to the meal has also been lo mein noodles tossed in a teriyaki sauce – which have been the center of some controversy the past couple of days. [Read more…]
