Gideon’s Bakehouse puts out some AMAZING desserts!

Every month at Disney Springs, Gideon’s releases special desserts and they have people lining up for hours! Some people might rope drop Slinky Dog Dash or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, but us? We rope drop a bakery. And we’d do it again! Gideon’s has given us some incredible treats like this mint chocolate cake and a spicy churro cookie. We can’t lie, we’re bananas for this month’s desserts! (Because they’re all banana themed, it’s be weird if we went strawberries for them or something.) 

January is all about banana bread and we’re here for it. We tried their Banana Bread Chocolate Chip cookie and the Banana Bread coffee, but there is one more Banana Bread themed snack that’s a bit harder to get. Behold, the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cake.

This cake is a three-layer vanilla cake flavored with Gideon’s house made banana syrup. There are thick layers of banana buttercream between each layers along with some mini chocolate chips, and the outside is coated with more chocolate chips and candied walnuts!

The Promised Land

It was originally only available on Sunday, January 9th, but today, Gideon’s announced via Instagram story that it would be coming back this weekend while supplies last! It will be available at the Disney Springs location and the East End Market location.

This is going to be a GOOD one, we can feel it!

So when we tell you to run, don’t walk, we mean RUN DON’T WALK to Disney Springs to get this Gideon’s cake. It definitely wouldn’t be the weirdest line we’ve stood in this week. We’re always staying up to date on all the latest in Disney snacks, so stay tuned to DFB for more!
