MagicBand+ has been all the rage in Disney World lately. The new bands are the next generation of MagicBand, and they come with some updated features, including interactions with the 50th Anniversary statues and a Bounty Hunter scavenger hunt in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. So why would you choose a normal MagicBand when these updated versions are available? There are actually a few reasons.
For one, regular MagicBands are usually cheaper than MagicBand+. Most MagicBand+ designs are $44.99, whereas normal MagicBands are usually around $29.99. Also, you don’t have to charge a regular MagicBand! (Although keep in mind that MagicBand+ will still function as a normal band if it’s not charged — it just won’t have the new features available.) So if you’re planning on sticking with the normal bands, you may want to take a look at 7 NEW MagicBands that Disney just released online!
If you head to shopDisney now, you can take a look at a LOT of MagicBand options (both normal and MagicBand+). Today we noticed a few new additions to the site. One of the new bands is themed to the “Dance of the Hours” scene from Fantasia. The band has Hyacinth Hippo…
…and Ben Ali Gator on either side!
You can get it for $29.99.

For all the Figment fans out there — first of all, how pumped are you that the Figment meet-and-greet is returning to EPCOT?! If you need a new band to celebrate, check out the Figment MagicBand, which is themed to the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival.
This design is a limited edition of 3,660, and the band comes in an illustrated presentation box. Figment is on one side…
…and there are some fruits and veg on the other.
You can get this band for $39.99.

If Avatar: Flight of Passage is your favorite ride in Disney World, you’ll want to see this Pandora MagicBand. It’s themed to the Pandora land in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, with a woodsprite on one side…
…and the word “Sivako” on the other. If you’ve been on Flight of Passage before, you already know that “Sivako” means “Rise to the Challenge” in the Na’vi language.
You can get this MagicBand for $29.99.

One of our favorite new MagicBands is designed by Dooney & Bourke. It’s part of their new Emperor’s New Groove collection, which features a design of pastel llamas!
This MagicBand has different colorful llamas all over it.
Because it’s a designer band, this one costs $58. 😬 It’s pricey for sure, but we do love that llama design.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of The Amazing Spider-Man, who debuted in Amazing Fantasy #15 in August 1962. You can get a Spider-Man MagicBand to celebrate the occasion!
This band has Spider-Man on one side, and the words “Beyond Amazing” on the other.
It costs $39.99.

Next up is the Marvel Pride Collection MagicBand, which has Marvel icons down the side in rainbow colors.
You’ll see the symbols for Spider-Man, the X-Men, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Black Panther. On the other side, the word “STRONG” is printed against a rainbow background.
You can buy this band now for $29.99.
