MagicBand+ has been all the rage in Disney World lately. The new bands are the next generation of MagicBand, and they come with some updated features, including interactions with the 50th Anniversary statues and a Bounty Hunter scavenger hunt in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. So why would you choose a normal MagicBand when these updated versions are available? There are actually a few reasons.
Get a load of all those MagicBands!
For one, regular MagicBands are usually cheaper than MagicBand+. Most MagicBand+ designs are $44.99, whereas normal MagicBands are usually around $29.99. Also, you don’t have to charge a regular MagicBand! (Although keep in mind that MagicBand+ will still function as a normal band if it’s not charged — it just won’t have the new features available.)
