A prophecy told us that a tasty treat is in our future.
We’re not talking about the Halloween snacks around Disney World — we’re talking about something we shouldn’t talk about. That’s right…we’re talking about Bruno.
Disney is celebrating Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month from September 15th through October 15th, and tooooons of treats have arrived at Disney World for the occasion! And today, we’re heading over to Good’s Food to Go at Disney’s Old Key West Resort to grab Bruno’s Vision Cupcake. This treat is a tres leches vanilla cupcake filled with dulce de leche with whipped cream and sugar “vision” shards. So is this as tasty as the prophecy says? Let’s find out!
The first thing we noticed was that this doesn’t look like a typical cupcake, and our sugar “vision” shards had basically disappeared and dissolved into the cake, so they kind of looked like green puncture holes. The initial presentation was a little odd but wait till you hear about the taste.
The flavors were AMAZING. This treat had a moist texture thanks to the leches and it was also sweet with a hint of cinnamon and spices. The crumbled cake on top just added to the deliciousness. YUM.
We noticed that it got a smidge too mushy on the bottom but to be honest, we didn’t mind. If you want a cupcake vibe but something a little easier to eat, this checks all the boxes. Dulce de leche and tres leches fans are sure to love this, disappearing green sugar shards and all.
We weren’t exaggerating when we said this treat is VERY moist, so keep that in mind if you’d rather have a more traditional cupcake.
If you’re looking for more Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month treats with a similar vibe, you might want to try the Tres Leches from Rosie’s All-American Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
You can grab this treat for yourself through October 15th for $6.29, and you can also find it at The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.
