It’s time for another installment of What’s New at EPCOTÂ but here’s the thing — there is ALWAYS something new at EPCOT, because EPCOT is in the middle of a massive transformation.
Construction at EPCOT
We’re not even sure when the transformation will be over — we’ve already seen SO much, including TWO new rides (Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind). Meanwhile, work is still being done on the upcoming Moana attraction and so much of EPCOT is still under construction. But let’s take a look at what ELSE is new at EPCOT, shall we?

Connections Cafe
We tried the Chocolate Halloween Cupcake for $5.99, made with Dark Chocolate cake, topped with dark chocolate mousse, covered in sprinkles, and decorated with a little chocolate spider and matching spiderweb. Yep, there’s a spider on our cupcake!
SPOOKY!
We liked it, even if the spider melted in the Florida sun. This cupcake is no longer available, though. We’ll watch for it to possibly return next year!

Sunshine Seasons
The Monster Mousse Dome Cake for $5.99 is made with silky caramel mousse floating on top of an island of spiced caramel apple bites, all balanced on a flakey pie crust. But it looks like the one-eyed purple people eater!

We thought it was pretty good, but we wouldn’t go out of our way for it. This snack, too, was only available through the end of last month.

We also tried out the S’mores Brownie with a Mickey Pumpkin decoration for $5.29. This is just like the normal brownie, a graham cracker crust and fudgy chocolate brownie base, topped with chocolate frosting and toasted marshmallow whip. The Halloween version just has a white chocolate Mickey Pumpkin on top.

This is one of those snacks we always thought was a little TOO sweet, and the pumpkin Mickey didn’t really change that.
