It’s been a BIG week for EPCOT news.

A huge construction milestone was reached at a new attraction, we learned which food booths are coming to the Festival of the Arts, and there’s a TON of new merch to check out. Let’s get to it!

Epcot Construction Updates

Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana

Remember when we said there was a HUGE construction milestone in EPCOT? We meant it! The massive Te Fiti figure has been moved into the Moana attraction construction zone. She’s covered in greenery, and you can see some flowers poking out of the top of her head for her crown.

Here’s a look at just how giant Te Fiti really is!

Disney has shared that Journey of Water will open sometime in late 2023, so stay tuned for more updates.

Epcot General Updates

You might notice some new signage up around the entrance to EPCOT! A couple new monorail signs with times and other information have been installed.

The signs light up at night, so you’ll be able to see where you’re going even in the dark.
