While you’re on a Disney World vacation, it’s important to plan out your dining options.
Everything is changing in Disney World
There are lots of places to find great meals and snacks, but one of our favorite things to eat in the parks is DESSERT. If you head over to The Friar’s Nook at Magic Kingdom, you can grab a new dessert that will have you coming back for more.
The Caramel Apple-Pecan Hand Pie is a fried, empanada-like dessert pastry filled with caramel apple-pecan and drizzled with vanilla custard sauce for $5.99.
The weird thing about this treat? We usually think of caramel apples and apple pie as being fall treats, so it was a little bit odd to see this available in the spring. But we’ll never complain about new treats in Disney World!
A new treat!
This is one delicious dessert! It is light and flaky, and the apples are very tender. It is also a very sweet treat, so it’s best for people who have a serious sweet tooth. Kids will probably enjoy this one!
Caramel Apple Pecan Hand Pie
If you have a craving for something sweet, but aren’t looking to have chocolate or ice cream, this is a great option for you. If you aren’t a fan of nuts or apples, you may want to pass this one up.

At $5.99 we felt it was totally worth it and we would recommend picking it up over at The Friar’s Nook. And hey — it has apples inside it so that means it’s practically healthy, right? 😉
