REVIEW: This Is The ONE Snack You Can't Skip Right Now In Hollywood Studios 🤩

If you ask me, some of the BEST combinations in life involve peanut butter in some way.

Life is just better with peanut butter!

Peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and banana, and of course — peanut butter and chocolate. Seriously, peanut butter just seems to make everything better. Some of our most favorite Disney World snacks feature peanut butter, like the Peanut Butter Cold Brew Cookie at Gideon’s Bakehouse, the iconic Peanut Butter Cookie Pie, and even a Peanut Butter Whoopie Pie. Now, there’s a new peanut butter and chocolate treat at Disney World, and it’s a version of a beloved snack we’ve had before. Of course, we wouldn’t be the Disney Food Blog if we didn’t go try it and review it, now would we?

Hollywood Scoops in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to an impressive variety of ice cream and other frozen treats, like milkshakes! Today, we’re going to be trying out Hollywood Scoops’ Chocolate-Peanut Butter Milkshake. This treat is $9.49 and is a chocolate milkshake topped with whipped cream and a chocolate doughnut. The doughnut itself is topped with peanut butter icing and garnished with chocolate-peanut butter crumbles. (Yep. You read that correctly. It’s like a 2-in-1 dessert!)

This treat is super similar to the Peanut Butter Explosion Shake that was available at Hollywood Scoops in 2021 and 2022, which we LOVED. Well, let’s see how this one compares! This one looked great from the moment we got our hands on it and we couldn’t wait to go to peanut butter and chocolate heaven!

From the first taste, we really noticed that the treat was peanut butter-forward, but SO chocolatey at the same time — exactly what you’d want out of a peanut butter and chocolate treat. It’s creamy and thick, but not so thick that it’s hard to drink. Even though this is a chocolate shake, we were definitely getting a peanut butter flavor in there somewhere.

The doughnut on top is soft and cake-like, and honestly very fluffy! The peanut butter icing on top of the doughnut was also delicious, with a great peanut butter flavor.

Our only complaint about this snack is that we wish there was more of it! We also feel that this snack is a little on the messy side, as the doughnut is so soft that you can’t lift it out of the milkshake. You need a spoon to enjoy the doughnut without a mess.

We do not recommend eating the snack like we did. 😂 Definitely grab a spoon!

So, should you march over to Hollywood Scoops the next time you’re at Hollywood Studios? Well, if you love chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, and things that taste like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, then you should definitely try this snack. You WON’T be disappointed. However, if you’re not big on the chocolate and peanut butter combo, this one might be a skip.
