Disney has made a big push in recent years to bring the “at home” experience and the “in park” experience together.

We’ve seen talks of a “metaverse” (though you won’t catch CEO Bob Iger using that word anytime soon) and have even seen Disney integrate a shopping feature into Disney+. And now, this new update on Disney+ is bringing the theme parks into your living room in a way we’ve never seen before!
Pixar Fest is happening now through August 4th at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and brings special characters, merchandise, entertainment, snacks, and more to the parks in a brand-new way. This revamped festival has been the talk of the town amongst Disney fans lately, and it looks like Disney+ is getting in on the conversation, too!
Gang’s all here for PIXAR FEST!
When you click on a Pixar-produced film or short, you might just see a message at the top letting you know that “Disneyland Resort is celebrating Pixar Fest.”

From what we can tell, this message appears on the landing pages for all Pixar films on Disney+! It looks like Disney is trying to let people know that they can extend their at-home Pixar celebration by attending the festival in person. And, if that sounds like something you’re interested in — you have until August 4th to do so!

We checked out Pixar Fest for ourselves and had so much fun interacting with the rare characters, taking in all the special entertainment, and of course — eating all the limited-time snacks! On May 10th, Pixar Fest food booths will open up giving us even more opportunities to celebrate all things Pixar.
