The day we’ve been waiting for is here! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is open in Magic Kingdom! We are so obsessed with all the new critters and animatronics Disney has included in this ride that we’ve been keeping up with every single update we can get.

And, now that the ride has opened, we’re taking in all the sights, sounds, and even smells at Tiana’s — but we’re not the only ones. So, what do the crowds look like on the opening day of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom?!

We got to Magic Kingdom nice and early…and so did plenty of other people! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure picks up the story of The Princess and the Frog “after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.” We got to preview the ride ourselves, but we’re back to check it all out again!

When we got to the park, we headed straight to the Emporium to check out the merchandise situation. The line to get into the store was pretty long, and Cast Members were telling us early on that they highly encouraged using Mobile Check-Out.

But we did eventually make it into the shop, and it was pretty busy! We will say that things were very organized, though, despite the crowds.

We also made our way over to Frontierland, and yes, it was crowded, too. There was also a long line for Golden Oak Outpost, which has a few Tiana’s Bayou Adventure-inspired menu items, including Beignets!

The lines over at the ride seemed decent. Right now, there are only two ways to ride: either through virtual queue (the 7AM virtual queue spots were GONE by 7:01AM) and through Genie+ (Lightning Lanes for the ride were gone quickly this morning, too).

There was also a little bit of a line to get into Main Street Confectionery — that’s because some new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure treats are available!

So yes, things are pretty busy in Magic Kingdom today, as we expected. We’ll be checking in and keeping you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
