Are you ready? Are you excited? Another festival has kicked off in EPCOT!
We’re live at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, checking out the food studios, artistic performances, merchandise, and more. There’s a LOT going on, but don’t let it overwhelm you. We’re here to tell you everything you need to know before your visit. Let’s go to Goshiki to try some returning snacks and a bunch of NEW drinks!
Menu
Over at the Goshiki, you’ll find several food and drink options inspired by Japanese cuisine. The iconic Sushi Donut has returned, but there is new food and new drinks to check out this year.
Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!
Eats
Let’s start with the Wagyu Bun for $9.75 made with a steamed bun filled with American wagyu beef served with green shiso sauce. Last year, our dish was made with a steamed bun filled with American wagyu beef served with green shiso sauce. This year, Disney changed things up a bit, serving it with Japanese karashi mustard sauce and violet shiso sauce.
Okay, this BLEW us away. The violet shiso sauce with the mustard sauce on the side…the flavors were complex and interesting. The bun, though, is so good that it doesn’t even NEED the sauces — they’re just the proverbial icing on the cake. The Wagyu beef is very tender and well done. The bun was light and airy with a hint of sweetness.
Next up is the Taiyaki for $6.75. This item is new to the festival this year and is described as a Crisp, flaky fish-shaped pastry filled with sweet red bean served with whipped topping and blueberry popping boba. We’ve had Taiyaki before and didn’t love it, but this is another big hit with us. The pastry is so flakey and buttery with just enough crispiness. The sweet red bean doesn’t overwhelm the other flavors. The whipped topping, though, is what we think added just the extra OOMPH that this really needed. It was light and airy and combined well with the blueberry flavor.
Now, it’s time for a FARTs CLASSIC. It’s time, y’all. The Sushi Donut is BACK! It’s a donut-shaped sushi featuring salmon, tuna, shrimp, cucumber, and sesame seed over a decorated plate of wasabi aïoli, sriracha aïoli, and eel sauce for $8.75. In the past, we’ve noticed that it tastes very fresh and it’s typically a super popular item at this festival. So, how was it in 2025?
Last year, though we liked it, we thought ours needed a bit more sauce because the sauce-to-sushi ratio was a bit off. So, how does the 2025 version measure up? This year, though, it was nice. The rice is soft and fresh and just sticky enough. The toppings were very light and fresh, and the wasabi aioli just added a hint of heat.
Drinks
In terms of drinks on this menu, Japan has STEPPED IT UP! Hope you’re thirsty, y’all!
Let’s start with the Okinawa Lemonade for $6.75. This refreshing little mocktail is a non-alcoholic option made with Lemonade mix with Shikuwasa Citrus. It’s light and refreshing, although it is VERY sweet. In fact, we thought it had too much sugar, although the tartness of the citrus cuts through it a bit.
Another citrusy option is available, but this one is a little boozy and zippin’ with classic Asian flavors. It’s the Yuzu IPA for $5.75 for 6 ounces and $9.75 for 12 oz.
You can also get a Junmai Daiginjyo Sake Flight for $16.75. The sake has three flavors, plum, yuzu, hyuganatsu, and sakuranbo Cherry.
Moving on with the drink menu, the Masu Sake in a traditional personalized wooden cup is back this year! This is a super fun take-home from the festival and it comes with sake to sip on. The best part? It can be personalized with whatever you want!
Grab it at the festival this year for $14.
OVERALL
This booth is a real winner for us this year, but the standout is the Wagyu Bun, which could be even better than our beloved Cheeseburger Pods in Animal Kingdom. However, everything at this booth really just WORKS this year, so you can’t go wrong with any of these options.
That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from!
