REVIEW: Why You Should Try This Disney POTION FLIGHT At Least Once

If you’ve been following Disney Food Blog for a while, you know that if a drink has a cool presentation, we have to try it. We like to ensure it tastes just as good as it looks, and over in Disneyland, once we saw this drink, we had to have it.

We got a few drinks at the Disneyland Hotel and we’re spilling all the details!

Over at the Broken Spell Lounge, we had the Benevolent Faerie for $22.

This is a drink trio, each featuring a vanilla bean-infused Golden Eagle vodka with distinct flavors, including Giffard banana liqueur, pineapple juice, lemon juice, honey, coconut syrup, and edible glitters. Broken Spell Lounge has tie-ins to Sleeping Beauty, and it looks like each drink represents Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather.

Benevolent Faerie

Starting with green, this drink is for the mint lovers! The vanilla vodka in this drink had a thicker texture and a heavier vodka flavor compared to the others. We think mint julep fans are going to have this as their favorite!

Green potion

The middle one has a fruity, blueberry taste on the artificial side. The vodka was more subtle, and the banana liquor added more to the fruity flavor.

Purple potion

The red drink had a floral, fresh flavor reminiscent of hibiscus. It was sweet and had the strongest alcohol taste, but the hibiscus flavoring cut down on the harshness. The pineapple brought a tart flavor, and overall, this was our favorite of the three.

How could we say no to this glitter? The presentation was beautiful, but the flavors matched, making this a fun trio to try next time you’re at Broken Spell Lounge.
