It’s time to get all not-so-scary, Disney fans!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back, and we are here in Magic Kingdom to check out all of the festivities! While the parade, entertainment, and trick-or-treating might be at the top of your list, the snacks are at the top of ours. Come with us to check out three new snacks at this year’s special ticketed event.
There is so much happening at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! There are characters to see, rides to enjoy, and SO. MANY. SNACKS. There are actually over 45, if you can believe it! Right now, we’re stopping by The Pinocchio Village Haus to grab three party-exclusive snacks. Ready? Let’s eat!

Pinocchio Village Haus
First up is the new Phantasmal Fried Pumpkin Ravioli served with black garlic aïoli! This ravioli will cost you $9.49, but is it worth it?
We were hyped to try this, but while we still really enjoyed them, they were a little too crispy, and it was a bit too hard to cut through them. With that said, the filling was delicious and had lots of great pumpkin flavor. The black garlic aioli tasted a lot like a tasty truffle aioli. It’s not perfect, but we liked this overall.
Next, we tried the Undead Garlic-Parmesan Chicken Strips for $10.99! It’s fried chicken strips tossed in garlic-parmesan sauce, parmesan, and parsley, and it is brand-new at this year’s party.
These are your classic Disney tenders with thicker breading and juicy chicken on the inside. They’re topped with a very garlicky sauce that also has a bit of cheesiness to it and some herbs on top, as well. Garlic is definitely the main flavor here, so you gotta like garlic, otherwise you simply won’t care for this. Fortunately, we love garlic, so these definitely did the trick!
Finally, we grabbed the Captain Hook Treasure Whoopie Pie! This one costs $5.49 and is a chocolate whoopie pie with caramel filling and fruit-flavored cereal treasure.
This is filled with a buttercream frosting and some caramel filling in the center. Ours was very sweet, and, unfortunately, we wouldn’t say the flavors are anything special. The fruit cereal on top is also hard to taste. The pie does have some major things going for it, however, and that includes its moist cake, creamy frosting, and silky caramel. If you like milk chocolate, take a bite out of the skull on top! Overall, this treat is pretty average.
While we’re on the subject, though, can we talk about the similarities between this new treat and an old favorite of ours, the Carrot Cake Cookie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios? It’s like the Carrot Cake Cookie got a Halloween makeover, right?!

Carrot Cake Cookie
All three of the snacks are only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so if you’re looking to try them, you’d better grab that special event ticket. This year’s party takes place on select nights from August 15th until October 31st, so there’s plenty of time to grab your costume and party the night away. We can’t wait to try even more snacks as the night continues. Be sure to keep following DFB for more Not-So-Scary reviews, tips, and tricks!
