It’s kinda’ hard keeping up with all the Disney news because, honestly, it feels like it’s coming at you fast, non-stop, all the time, especially with all the construction and new things coming to Disney World and Disneyland. And you know what, it is! Something is ALWAYS going on with The Walt Disney Company. But that’s what makes it all so exciting.
Now, we know not everyone has the time to read through every single thing, and with your busy lives, it’s hard to keep up with all the big news drops. So we’re going to go through the three biggest Disney news stories of the week so you can get caught up quickly.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is closed
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith took its one last ride through Disney’s Hollywood Studios this week and is now close to be reimagined as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Since its closing, we’ve already seen changes being made to the ride’s exterior and learned that the ride will be a Tier 1 ride with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. That means when you make your Lightning Lane pre-selections ahead of your visit to Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be one of the rides you can only choose ONE selection for.
EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Kicked Off
The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival kicked off this week, and that means there’s all kinds of NEW food and drinks to try out in EPCOT, as well as new merchandise to buy, and new entertainment to enjoy. The festival runs through June 1st, so you’ve still got time to check it all out. Be sure to check out all our reviews first, though!
New pop-up shake spot
We’ll admit we’ve been jealous of Disneyland having all the fun with Black Tap’s over-the-top shakes, but a Black Tap CrazyShakes pop-up has taken over the old Sprinkles location in Disney Springs. We visited the spot and got to be the first people EVER to have the Special Edition Mickey CrazyShake on the East Coast. Go us! This is just a limited-time pop-up, so if you’re craving a shake, be sure to visit it before it’s gone!
We’ll keep you updated on EVERY Disney update, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more.
