Universal Orlando has so many refurbs happening right now!
Six attractions will be closed this spring and summer across all three Universal Orlando parks. Here are all of the ride closures to know about for your next visit, including some newly announced ones!
MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack at Universal Studios will be closed from June 1st to June 16th for short-term maintenance. The ride is an interactive laser shooting ride where you train with the Men in Black to take down aliens and save New York City!
One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish will be closed for maintenance on March 24th and 25th, and will reopen the next day on Wednesday, March 26th. This aerial carousel ride is themed after Dr. Seuss’s One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book and is located in the Suess Landing area of Islands of Adventure.
Another ride closure is Stardust Racers in Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe. The ride has been closed since February 19th and is expected to reopen on April 5th. They’re performing routine maintenance and updates on the roller coaster.
An additional lengthy closure is the Jurassic Park River Adventure in Islands of Adventure. The water ride has been closed since January 5th and will reopen in the fall on November 19th. The ride will reopen with refreshed animatronics and enhanced sound effects in addition to routine maintenance.
A different Jurassic Park refurbishment is happening currently, with Pteranodon Flyers being closed from February 17th to May 14th. This ride has you board a Pteranodon dinosaur and fly over the Jurassic Park section of Islands of Adventure.
The last closure happening soon is Me Ship, The Olive. This is a play area in the Toon Lagoon section of Islands of Adventure. It will be closed from May 26th to June 9th.
That’s every Universal Orlando closure announced for the spring and summer. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more theme park news!
