Over years and years of visiting Disney World every day, we have tried A LOT of ride hacks.
Some have worked, some haven’t, some we only break out for special occasions, and some? Well, there are those that we use EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Now, we’re sharing three of them with you.
Flight of Passage is All About Timing
Since its opening back in 2017, Avatar: Flight of Passage has been the most popular ride at Animal Kingdom — and one of the busiest at Walt Disney World — with wait times often over an hour. The ride has only gotten busier recently, thanks to the construction of the Tropical Americas: Pueblo Esperanza expansion.
If you want to avoid peak wait time at the attraction — and aren’t able to score a Lightning Lane Single Pass for the attraction — avoid attempting to ride in the middle of the day! Instead, rope drop the attraction early in the morning, or head over to Pandora shortly before park closing.
The Best Time to Ride the Magic Kingdom’s Busiest Rides
Want to hit Space Mountain, Peter Pan’s Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, or even TRON with (comparatively) shorter waits? If you’ve seen the park’s major entertainment offerings in the past — including the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, and the Happily Ever After fireworks — then their showtimes make the perfect time to hit the park’s rides while most guests are watching the show or parade. During these short windows, you’ll have the golden opportunity to hit up some of the top rides in the park with minimal wait time.
Staying Dry in the Bayou
You can sit on the left and at the back of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’s boats to stay drier. You’ll still get a face full of water on the drop, but not as much as the front seat. As for the side of the vehicle, sometimes water cannons fire as you pass the drop, and there’s a waterfall at the end that could leave you SOAKED on the right side.
Next time you’re visiting the “Most Magical Place on Earth”, take advantage of these ride hacks to elevate your experience even further. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World tips.
