The day is finally almost here! Bluey’s Wild World officially opens to the public in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26th, but the land has opened EARLY!
This is just one part of Disney’s Cool Kids’ Summer event, taking place from May 26th through September 8th this year, but it’s easily one of the most anticipated offerings. Bluey’s Wild World can be found over at Conservation Station, meaning you’ll need to take the Wildlife Express over. Prepare yourselves, though, because this area looks TOTALLY different now!
You’ll want to head to Conservation Station to check out Bluey’s Wild World, which is a free-flowing and interactive show that kids will love. At Bluey’s Wild World, you can meet Bluey, have dance parties, play games from the show, and visit a petting zoo with all Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies!
For the soft opening on May 25th, the new land is accessible via a standby line, but when it officially opens, there will be a Virtual Queue to access Bluey’s Wild World.
Since you need to take the Wildlife Express Train, which can get bottlenecked even on normal busier days, we decided to head over to the train sooner rather than later to get in line. Luckily, it came pretty quickly this time around! There’s a new announcement on the train, and you might recognize the voice — it’s Robert Irwin!

When you get off the train and walk up to the main Conservation Station building, you’ll notice that not much has changed, though there are some fun Bluey-themed signs along the way.
There is also an updated wall mural right as you get to the main entrance along the pathway, however.
We definitely weren’t the only ones to stop by the new Bluey experience, but it wasn’t nearly as crowded as it likely will be when it officially opens. And, there they are! It’s Bluey and Bingo!

You can also play games with Bluey and Bingo, and the kiddos were LOVING IT! Seriously, we think this might be the most joy we’ve ever seen on kids’ faces at Disney World, and we’ve been doing this for YEARS.
The interactive show is adorable — there are four games and a short dance party at the end.
The good news is that Bluey and Bingo really make sure to make their way through the crowd so that all kids (and adults) get to say hi — even if it’s pretty quick. The bad news is that it’s SO loud between the music and the kids screaming that it’s a real relief once the show is over.
More good news is that all of the exhibits inside Conservation Station have stuck around, so you can still see the reptiles, creepy crawlies, and the vet staff performing exams and doing surgery from time to time.
Jumping Junction — the new animal area featuring red and grey kangaroos, plus wallabies — has opened early, too. Currently, you can come and look at the kangaroos through the fence, but in the future, you’ll be able to walk around them.
Cast Members said that the animals are still getting used to being here, and they want to make sure that they are completely comfortable before allowing people to get close to them.
There will also be exciting Bluey-themed snacks and drinks to check out, and you can see the full list here. We got to try the new Fairy Bread Cake — check out our review here!
If you want to visit Bluey’s Wild World when it officially opens, here’s everything you need to know about the Virtual Queue:
In the morning, before 7 AM, open your My Disney Experience App and on the main page, click on Virtual Queue. Here, it will take you to the Bluey’s Wild World Virtual Queue page. When you get to this page, confirm your party and then wait until 7 AM. Once it hits 7 AM, you’ll be able to try to join the queue.
To join the queue at 7 AM, you must have a valid park admission or a theme park reservation if applicable. And if you don’t get the first drop, don’t worry, there is another drop at 10 AM. However, you should be aware that to participate in the 10 AM drop, you need to be inside the park. Disney has not announced how long this Virtual Queue system will be in place for, so if you have a trip coming up, be prepared to secure a virtual queue if you want to hang with Bluey.
This is certain to be a VERY popular experience all summer long, so be sure to pack your patience and prepare yourself for waiting in some intense lines!
