Whew, keeping up on What’s New in Hollywood Studios is challenging! We’re watching the Skyliner progress, Star Wars Land Galaxy’s Edge progress, and all the new food, entertainment changes, and merch!

It’s no secret Hollywood Studios (and all of us) are getting ready for Star Wars Land Galaxy’s Edge to open next fall. And, now it looks like Tatooine Traders, the gift shop attached to the Star Tours ride, is in the middle of a face lift to be ready for the Galaxy’s Edge opening!

Disney has not announced what the refurbishments are or a timeline for the construction.
We found so much on our latest trip to the Magic Kingdom — and we got to celebrate the 47th anniversary of the park! That means we’re just three short years away from all of the festivities and new rides and restaurants planned for the 50th Anniversary! Are they issuing FastPasses for the Tron ride yet? 🙂

Walt Disney promised us when he opened Disneyland that the park would never be finished. With the amount of changes and construction we see around Disney World that couldn’t be more true today than it was when he said that quote!
The Rivers of America have been undergoing refurbishment that saw a partial drain of the River. This past week when we were in Magic Kingdom the River was refilled. This week we wanted to find out when the Riverboat would set sail again.

Memento Mori is the little shop located outside the Haunted Mansion
and Columbia Harbour House — and if you haven’t stopped in there lately you’ve got to make some time to do so! This shop is jam packed with all kinds of cool, unique, and fun Haunted Mansion merch!

Our visit to Memento Mori this week rewarded us with a find perfect for every Haunted Mansion loving home!
When we were in the Magic Kingdom this week we made an irresistible find from Dooney and Bourke. They’ve worked their magic again and come out with an line of perfectly evil handbags designed for the Villain in all of us!

They have put an evil twist on the cheerful Mickey ears by creating Mickey ears for Villains.
If you keep up with our What’s New in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs posts, you’ve probably noticed that The Ganachery in the shopping, dining, and entertainment district often crafts incredible chocolate pinatas for holidays, special events, and World-wide trends.

It’s a new month, and we are super excited, because that means all kinds of new “of-the-month” food in Magic Kingdom! We already know Casey’s Corner Hot Diggity Dog of the Month is a Mashed Potato Dog!! And now we know what Pinocchio has whipped up for the Flatbread of the Month at The Pinocchio Village Haus.

Now, after discovering the October Flatbread of the Month we’ll have to add one more thing to our must-try list this month!
When we were at Hollywood Studios we saw something you don’t see very often — a clear view from the entrance of the park to the Chinese Theater.
