It’s never too early to start thinking about Disney’s most popular Halloween event, so Disney just announced the dates for Oogie Boogie Bash!
We’ve finally made it to the spooky season in Disneyland again, and that means that it’s time for one of our favorite attractions to get a massive overlay!
It’s here!
Haunted Mansion is one of Disneyland’s most popular attractions at any time of year, but during Halloween and Christmas season, it turns into Haunted Mansion Holiday and grows even more popular. After a short closure to transform the ride, Haunted Mansion Holiday is officially open for guests to enjoy!

The special ticketed event in Disney California Adventure is back on select nights from August 17th – October 31st, 2025. It’s hugely popular thanks to the rare characters, delectable snacks, and interactive trick-or-treat trails! Those treat trails are a huge reason the event sells out each year, so let’s check out where you can maximize your treats and see what villains will be pulling some tricks along the way.

It may be only January but it’s official — Haunted Mansion Holiday is returning to Disneyland in the 2025-2026 spooky season!
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Disneyland originally announced this morning on its website that Haunted Mansion Holiday would return from November 14th, 2025 through January 7th, 2026. However, it was announced soon after that those dates were incorrect and that the overlay would instead be open a bit earlier!

The entire event sold out in a matter of a few weeks — THAT’S how popular this event is, and we have a feeling it’s only about to get MORE iconic. We look forward to this event all year and we can’t believe it’s finally here! We love all the exclusive snacks and entertainment we get to experience during this event, as well as, of course, the trick or treating! Kids and adults have tons of fun traveling through the Treat Trails around Disney California Adventure and getting all the candy possible and meeting Disney villains while they do it.
