We’ve been making our way around the exclusive after-hours party, watching the Frightfully Fun Parade, checking out the Villains Grove maze, and more. But one of the best parts of the party is the trick-or-treating! At the Trick-or-Treat trails, not only can guests stock up on tons of free candy, but they also meet a few RARE characters along the way. Let’s take a look at who and what we found this year.
One of the best things about Halloween in Disneyland is the Haunted Mansion Holiday layover.
For a limited time, characters from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas take over the attraction in a spooky/festive fashion. We already knew that the Haunted Mansion Holiday would return beginning on September 1st, but now we know when the ride will have to CLOSE in order for the Cast Members to create the overlay magic. Halloween has FINALLY arrived in Disneyland and we couldn’t be more excited!
Main Street, U.S.A. is adorned with pumpkins and fall leaves and the iconic Mickey pumpkin has arrived, too. If you’re feeling a chill in the air, it definitely isn’t because the temperature is dropping.

It’s that time of year again; Halloween is back at Disneyland!
We’ve seen Halloween merchandise start to pop up over on the west coast, and it’s not officially Halloween in Disneyland until we see the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. To celebrate the spooky season, Disney recently announced over 50 Halloween food items coming to Disneyland for the season, and now, they’ve arrived! So, buckle up, because we’re heading to Disneyland to try one of the new Halloween treats.
It’s official — Halloween time has hit Disneyland Resort. There are spooky decorations, events, and tons of treats.
