We saw tons of new updates released for the Halloween festivities that we will be able to find in both Disneyland and Disney World this year, and tickets have been on sale for the events on each coast for a few weeks now. If you were hoping to head to Oogie Boogie Bash in Disneyland this year, we hope you already got your tickets, because they’re SOLD OUT!

Not only can you meet tons of rare characters in a nearly-empty Disneyland, but you can also try exclusive snacks, grab special merchandise, and experience Halloween magic in a way only Disneyland creates. But when can you grab tickets for this after-hours event? Now we finally know!

Disney already released the calendar of events that we can expect in the coming months, and it has got us HYPED for what’s to come. From Disneyland After Dark (including a new Disney Channel Nite) to runDisney races and the holiday season, there are going to be plenty of reasons to plan trips. And if you’re hoping to head to the West Coast for Halloween, we’ve got news for you!
Oogie Boogie Bash is Disneyland’s frightfully fun Halloween party, and folks trying to buy tickets were certainly in for a fright when they went on sale.

Just after tickets went on sale, sales were paused due to technical difficulties. Disney announced that we’d receive an update about tickets on July 6th — and now we know when you’ll be able to buy them again!
If you’ve ever experienced the anxiety-inducing process of trying to purchase a highly-anticipated Disney ticket, you know that the process is often, well, a hot mess. In the past, we’ve seen Disney’s website crash, experienced random pauses while waiting in the virtual queue, and watched tickets sell out in the blink of an eye. It’s a high-stress situation, people!
