It may be the middle of summer, but we can’t stop thinking about the Oogie Boogie Bash that is returning to the Disneyland Resort for another spooky season!
Oogie Boogie Bash
Why can’t we stop thinking about it? It’s because tickets are ALREADY on sale! If you’re hoping to check out the Halloween Party at Disney California Adventure, this is your reminder that you can get tickets RIGHT NOW. We wouldn’t hesitate, because tickets are limited.
If you collect Disney popcorn buckets, you’ve probably been keeping up with all the latest popcorn bucket drops, and we’ve seen some VERY cool popcorn buckets recently, including a Salvaged Protocol Droid Popcorn Bucket, a Pixar Pal-A-Round Round Popcorn Bucket, and more.

Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland
Magic Key holders are Disneyland’s version of Annual Passholders, and similar to Disney World’s annual pass system, Magic Key holders often get access to special deals, discounts, events, and more that regular guests aren’t eligible for. If you’re a collector AND a Magic Key holder, there are new collectible cards you can begin snagging THIS week, but from what we’re seeing, many passholders are NOT happy about it.
As Disney experts, we keep our eyes on a lot of different elements that can affect your vacation. We know all the wait times for Disney World and track ride trends so that you know when to ride each attraction and know when Lightning Lanes are most expensive. We also track park reservations to see if there’s anything out of the ordinary. What can we say? We love to help!

Disneyland
Disneyland Magic Key passes are not typically available all year round, so you have to snag them when they pop up. Here’s all the details you need to know!
Are you a Magic Key Holder at Disneyland? Magic Key is Disneyland’s version of the Annual Pass and allows guests to visit the theme parks all year long.
Lightning Lane at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disneyland
There’s a special offer starting soon that can make your park day even more special and get you riding on all the rides you want! As a Disney World Annual Passholder, I’m jealous that Magic Key Holders get to take advantage of this promotion.
Breaking this rule in Disneyland in 2025 could lead to some serious consequences.
Disneyland
When the Disney Parks in the United States reopened during the COVID-19 pandemic, they did so with a with a reservation system installed. This system required guests to not only have tickets, but to also manually make park day reservations online in order to gain access to the parks of their choice. Disney installed this process in an effort to manage crowds more effectively during a time where there was more of an emphasis on capacity and social distancing. While the park reservation system is long gone from Disney World, it still remains at the Disneyland Resort. While it doesn’t affect tourists too much (getting reservations can be tricky but it’s much easier in 2025 than it was back during the pandemic), Magic Key Holders need to be aware of a major rule that the Resort will continue to enforce for the forseeable future.
If you have been eagerly waiting for Magic Key passes to go back on sale for Disneyland Resort, you are in luck. Magic Key passes will go back on sale on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025!

Sales for Magic Key passes have been paused since November 2024. While renewals have remained available, new Magic Key pass sales were not available, but you will soon be able to purchase one again.
