We’re poppin’ in with a couple of updates for you regarding the Refillable Popcorn Bucket program in Disney World!
In case you missed the original buzz, Refillable Popcorn Buckets hit the scene in late June. Guests could purchase a souvenir Popcorn Bucket at select Popcorn Carts around Disney World for $10.00 and have it refilled at any Popcorn Cart on property (no matter where the original Bucket was purchased) for $1.50 for the remainder of the day. [Editor’s Update: Please note, the refill price increased to $1.75 in March 2018.]
The program was originally scheduled to run through September 1st. However, September 1st has come and gone… and the Refillable Popcorn Buckets are still up for grabs! At Magic Kingdom, they’ve even received a spooky little makeover in honor of the arrival of Halloween. [Read more…]

Sometimes, nothing but a nice cuppa will do.
And even when you’re on vacation (which is, of course, supposed to be all about relaxing), an escape into a soothing cup of tea can be a welcome change of pace.
And that’s true regardless of weather, don’t you think? After all, serious tea drinkers don’t mind raising a cup, even in Florida heat and humidity. 🙂
Are you looking to try something new or to celebrate the ritual of something familiar and comforting? Either way, we have suggestions for finding a really good cup of tea throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Come with us as we share some of our favorites.
Just like coffee, tea is finding a larger and more sophisticated fan base everyday. But whether you’re a lifelong lover of tea, or you’re just learning your way around it, Joffrey’s Tea Traders Cafe at Disney Springs is a welcome stop on your list of places to explore this storied beverage. We’re traveling to Animal Kingdom’s Asia to show off a couple new items on the Yak & Yeti (Anandapur) Local Food Cafes menu!
Not to be confused with the Yak & Yeti Table Service restaurant next door, Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes is a Quick Service option for adventurers on the go! Some items — though not the ones we’re checking out today — are even served in the most adorable Chinese food carry-out boxes.
As expected with Animal Kingdom, the restaurant is beautifully themed. This Indian market blends in perfectly next to the Maharajah Jungle Trek with advertisements for “local” companies, fruit stands, and a cool assortment of seating options.
The first thing you’ll likely see are the long lines, but as the arrow on the sign suggests, there’s plenty of room around the corner!
So don’t let this deter you… [Read more…]

We know, we know… Back-to-School time is fast approaching (and in some spots, it’s already arrived!). But the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer aren’t quite over just yet, so we’ve still got some summer celebrating to do!
And, hey, the coming of Fall isn’t so bad, anyway. Not when we’ve got our very favorite autumnal event coming to the first stop on our tour in a matter of weeks. That’s why we’re kicking things off at Epcot to see What’s New!
The 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival will be here before we know it! Sure signs of its return are starting to appear around the park…
… as in, like, literal signs 😉 . Even the Miniature Train display in the Germany Pavilion has received its annual decorations!
Have you checked out the full list of Booth Menus to start strategizing your noshing plans yet?! It’s never too soon… the Festival starts on September 14th! [Read more…]
Jambo! Welcome back to Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, one of our favorite places for wild theme park snacks!
Harambe Market is truly an experience. Much like the rest of Animal Kingdom, the theming is spectacular, and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Storybook, Africa! This is a fairly new restaurant – you can check out our full review from last year’s opening here – and we love the set up.
As you can see from the entrance sign, the snacks here are a little different than what you’d find in the other three theme parks, and ordering is different, too. Each type of snack has a different window to order from: Chef Mwanga’s Ribs Shop, Kitamu Grill, Famous Sausages, and Wanjohi Refreshment (but we’re told you can order any item from any window except Wanjohi Refreshments, which only serves drinks).
Great news today for Tables in Wonderland Members! You can now use your discount card at some of the most exotic spots throughout Walt Disney World!
Disney has just added four of its newest locations to the list of spots accepting the program. Here are the new additions!
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar — Located at Disney Springs, this super-themed bar has quickly become a favorite place to hang out for lovers of the Indiana Jones franchise (and anyone else, really). [Read more…]

It’s high temps and good times in Walt Disney World this summer season! We’re spotting plenty of frosty summer sips to help you beat the heat, along with all sorts of new restaurants to stop in and take an air-conditioned breather.
And if we’re talking about new restaurants, there’s only one place to start this round of What’s New, and that’s…
I know — it’s as though the openings are never-ending at Disney Springs! The Grand Opening Summer Celebration is ON for this dining, shopping, and entertainment district!
Can you believe it? What once seemed like a never-ending transformation of what was once Downtown Disney to Disney Springs is now complete (though we still have a few more spots to welcome in the coming months!). [Read more…]
If you are in Disney World or anywhere around the Orlando area on June 30, 2016, we would like you to know about Dine Out for #OrlandoUnited — a city and statewide event in which participating restaurants all across Orlando and the rest of Florida are helping to raise money to benefit the OneOrlando Fund supporting the victims of the recent tragedy at The Pulse, and their families.
Participating restaurants in Disney World include Morimoto Asia, Bongos Cuban Cafe, House of Blues Orlando, Portobello, Raglan Road, Splitsville Luxury Lanes, STK Orlando, T-Rex, Yak and Yeti and the Rainforest Cafe (both the Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs locations). Ravello and Capa at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World are also on the list. [Read more…]
