You’re being BRAINWASHED by the Disney Parks. How??
We’re EXPOSING the truth, today on DFB Guide.
There are multiple Disney characters who we feel don’t get the love they deserve, and Pocahontas is certainly one of them!
We love the film, and we absolutely get in her meet and greet line to say hello whenever we spot her around Disney World, but any time we see merchandise inspired by her or her film, we get extra excited. And now, she’s got a NEW Dooney & Bourke collection online right now!
Airport security lines are getting longer and longer due to the partial government shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — with no signs of relief anytime soon, according to CNN.
The department, which is responsible for overseeing the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at airports, posted photos of long lines at security checkpoints on social media, ultimately blaming Democrats for the situation. Homeland Security funding lapsed in mid-February due to a standoff between Republicans and Democrats over federal immigration reform.
Southwest Airlines has some serious catching up to do.
While we absolutely love a good deal on airfare, it’s hard not to notice that other major carriers are making some pretty significant upgrades that are leaving Southwest in the dust. From elevated in-flight dining to genuinely helpful app features, the competition is raising the bar in ways we didn’t even know we needed. Here’s what we think Southwest needs to add to keep up with the rest of the pack.
Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando!
Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable. Sure, we can look at past data to get an estimate of the crowd levels in Disney World, but you never know what may happen from year to year. The Aerosmith version of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster closed forever on March 2nd, and fans gave it a massive final encore as Disney World’s busiest average wait time.
One of the most important things you can do to ensure you’re set up for success with a full day at Disney World is to stay hydrated, and there are PLENTY of water bottle options to choose from.
We’re in Disney World every day, and having a drink to sip while spending the entire day in the parks isn’t just key, it’s essential. These are our picks for the TOP 5 water bottles to bring to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
It’s no secret that MagicBands have become an integral part of Disney World vacations over the last decade+. They can serve as room keys, payment methods, entry tickets, be used to check-in for Lightning Lanes, connect with PhotoPass, and react to select Disney theme park attractions with “lighting effects and gesture recognition”, and they’re available in a slew of cool designs!
However, take it from me, there are some things you NEED to know before picking up your bands for your next Disney World trip!
Disney World water parks can become very popular, very quickly — especially during the hotter times of year, which are quickly approaching!
The resort has two different water parks: Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Currently, Blizzard Beach is the only water park open, but come May 26th, both water parks will be open through September 8th. If you’re planning on heading to either of them this summer, there’s one item you CANNOT forget to bring. We’ve forgotten it ourselves and 100% regretted it, so please don’t make the same mistake we did.
Springtime is here, and that means new menus are popping up all over Disney World.
In EPCOT, the Flower and Garden Festival has begun, bringing TONS of new eats to the park, but other restaurants all around the resort are joining in as well. That includes the Starbucks locations around as well, and we headed over to Connections Cafe to try the new drink AND new cake pop!
Disney World trips are magical, but let’s be real: they’re also incredibly hot.
Like, standing in line, wondering if you’re melting hot. And if you’re someone who tends to run warm, you already know that a little paper fan from the gift shop isn’t going to cut it. That’s why we’re talking about this $22 Amazon find that we genuinely think needs to be on your packing list before your next trip. It’s called the AMKEN Waist Fan, and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. It’s a fan you clip right to your waistband, and it’s become one of our absolute favorite Disney World accessories.
