If it seems like everything is changing in Disney World in 2026, well, it is! Sure, Disney World parks are getting all kinds of new things in 2026. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting a newly reimagined area and a Muppets ride, while Magic Kingdom is getting an updated Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Well, Disney Springs doesn’t want to be left out in the cold, so you’ll be seeing some NEW things there, too, this year. So let’s talk about everything new coming to Disney Springs in 2026.
Let’s face it — 2026 could be a rough year for Disney World as it continues to progress through several construction projects. Still, that doesn’t mean some new things aren’t opening.

We’re seeing quite a few ride changes in 2026 at Disney World! Over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is getting a Muppets retheme, Magic Kingdom’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is finally reopening after a year-plus closure with new effects and an updated track, and big things are happening at EPCOT, including new faces coming to the animatronics of Frozen Ever After and Soarin’ getting an “Across America” update during the country’s 250th anniversary celebration. However, we’ll also be seeing multiple new locations pop up over the theme park resort!
