It has been a BIG YEAR for Star Wars fans.
Galactic Starcruiser!
Earlier this year, the opening of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser brought fans a whole new way to enjoy the Star Wars universe (but it didn’t come without a HEFTY price tag). And now, the most star-studded Star Wars event in the galaxy has announced even more celebrity guests slated to attend the upcoming celebration!
Star Wars is a big part of Disney World (there’s even a whole Star Wars-themed LAND in Disney’s Hollywood Studios), and you’ll find LOTS of out-of-this-world merchandise in various spots throughout the Most Magical Place on Earth!

From lightsabers to spirit jerseys and Mickey ears, we just keep finding more and more great Star Wars items! Last year, Corkcicle came out with some super cool items thanks to a fun Star Wars collaboration, and now you can snag some of this collection in Disney World!

There’s no shortage of stuff out there to buy. Some of it is VERY normal, like Funko Pops or Baby Yoda toys. But some of that merch — even a familiar face — can leave us with our mouths on the floor!

We’ve been on the hunt for the latest and greatest Minnie Ears to wear around the house these days, because why WOULDN’T you wear Minnie Ears around the house?! The recent announcement of the next installment of the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction Series has reminded us of why we love collecting these beauties in the first place!

As I mentioned earlier in the Star Wars snacks post, my family is headed to Walt Disney World soon. One of the main reasons that we are gearing up for a June trip is to attend our second Star Wars Weekends event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Star Wars Weekends
The first time we attended my husband RAN for a picture with a Stormtrooper, leaving his then 8-year old son in his lightspeed-wake. It’s the kind of event that encourages grown adults to recall their youthful summer days having backyard battles with makeshift lightsabers. Are you with me?!
One of my favorite places to browse while my son is on his 9th ride (seriously, I am SO not kidding!) on Star Tours is Tatooine Traders. After two galactic missions IN A ROW, I’m ready for some shopping!
And, luckily, Disney Theme Parks sell exclusive Star Wars Mr. Potato Head figures. This 5-part Limited Edition set makes a great gift for your Star Wars fans! 😉
