Tickets for the 2025 Destination D23 event at Disney World go on sale on April 14th at 10 AM PST (1 PM EST). The event, titled Destination D23: A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney, will take place from Friday, August 29th, through Sunday, August 31st, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Here’s what you need to know ahead of this important event.

There are so many new attractions coming to Disney World and Disneyland, as well as the international parks, and one of the largest announcements was that a new Monsters Inc. land is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! But here’s the thing — Hollywood Studios isn’t THAT big of a park (as it stands, it’s the second smallest next to Magic Kingdom), so it’s extremely likely that this new land will take the place of an existing attraction in the park. And Muppets fans, we need to warn you that it could be very bad news for Muppets Courtyard.

We got to hear tons of news about all the exciting attractions coming to Disney parks in the coming years, find out that there’s 4 (!!!) new Disney Cruise Line ships on the way, and so, SO much more. But in between all the panels and booths we experienced, we got to see some truly incredible Disney costumes that we couldn’t get enough of!

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is coming soon! The event will be taking place from August 9th through August 11th, 2024 in Anaheim, CA. This event will feature lots of fantastic experiences including appearances from Disney execs, celebrities, Imagineers, and so much more. Plus, there are sure to be some BIG announcements!

If you are attending this year’s event, you will want to know about the Reservation Random Selection Process, or Reservation RSP, that will be utilized for the event. The Reservation RSP will allow you to make reservation requests for select panels, presentations, talent signings, and show floor experiences ahead of the event.
