Walt Disney World
and Disneyland Resort tend to jump on particular food trends and…never let go. Right now, it’s all about the Push Pop.
The craze started slowly back in 2015 during Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival when France introduced the Peach Iced Tea ice pop.
Then France served the Ice Pop Pomme (an apple flavored alcoholic ice pop!) at that year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
It’s the weekend! And we’re celebrating it with another DFB Video today, where we’re sharing the MUST-EAT items at Disneyland’s Pixar Fest!
Pixar Fest is running now through September 3rd, and there is a whole lotta fun and FOOD going on all over Disneyland Resort to celebrate! Now, you may be game to try each and every specialty food item at Pixar Fest (and if so, we’ve got a Pixar Fest Food Checklist to help you do that)!
But let’s say you’ve just got a day or two in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure this summer… well, in that case, you may need to narrow your list down to just the must-eat items. So here are some of the best of the best at Pixar Fest (with thanks to our great friend Heather Sievers @diningindisney) in our latest DFB YouTube Video!
And if you love this video, there’s plenty more for you to enjoy over on our DFB YouTube Channel!
By the way, have you subscribed yet? If you hit the button below, you can subscribe to the channel and never miss a single episode!
So check out the video and then let us know: What’s on YOUR must-try list for Pixar Fest?
The newly reopened Blue Sky Cellar in Disney California Adventure is giving us glimpses into the future of Pixar Pier.
The Cellar features concept art, sketches, models, and even videos of the upcoming land, which opens on June 23rd, and includes some new concept art of Lamplight Lounge! As Heather Sievers (@diningindisney) was busy noshing on all the eats at Pixar Fest, she stopped by Blue Sky Cellar and shared photos of the concept art with us.
This new lounge will replace the Cove Bar. The story behind the space is that it’s renovated from an old warehouse factory, with the wooden floor made from refinished wood boards from the factory (you’ll spot them on the ceiling, too).
If you’ve been wondering if the Abominable Snowman’s snow cones from Monsters, Inc., are really lemon (or not!), wait no longer! Because the now Adorable Snowman has opened his counter service windows on Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park! (HUGE thanks to @StephRPowers for these awesome photos!)
Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats is one of the first of many highly anticipated openings to happen on the reimagined pier, and we’re excited to bring you the menu and a peek at one of the most amazing items on it!

Are you ready to become part of a BIGGER UNIVERSE? Because Disney — together with Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment — is developing three news areas that “will champion the next generation of Super Heroes.” New heroic experiences are on the way to Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and DISNEYLAND RESORT in California!
Disneyland Resort will debut an entirely new Super Hero-themed land in 2020, with further anticipated experiences beyond that.
As part of the evolution of Disney California Adventure park, the transformation will result in a “completely immersive Super Hero universe,” bringing together The Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, and the Avengers. The new land will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction, in the current “a bug’s land” area.
Note that “a bug’s land” will close entirely in late summer to make way for this new land. See ya later Chew-Chew Train!
Super excited to share some breaking news with you about Pixar Pier in Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure park. (Don’t forget that Pixar Pier officially opens on June 23rd!)
We’ve got the scoop on some brand new eats for Pixar Fest as well as some upcoming Pixar Pier dining locations that will be permanent residents of the new Pixar Pier! Ready? Here we go!! (Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to see the new Pixar Pier dining spots!)
