Disney’s latest ship, the Disney Destiny, is set for its maiden voyage this coming November, and recently, we got to check out certain elements of the ship that SURPRISED us.

The Destiny, the latest ship from the ever-expanding Disney Cruise Line, will be themed to Heroes and Villains, with environments based on “on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions” according to the company. Disney’s Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.”

Ahoy, sailors, superheroes, and snack fans! We’ve brought you all together for an important discussion. We’re reporting LIVE from our first preview of the Disney Destiny cruise ship, and we’ve got a LOT to talk about.

The NEW Disney Destiny sets sail on November 20th, 2025! Picture the classic Disney Cruise ships we know and love, but with an epic twist. The Disney Destiny will be a sister ship to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, and Disney revealed that the ship will have a first-of-its-kind design theme: Heroes and Villains. In fact, the design will draw “on the legacies of beloved Disney stories, characters, and theme park attractions,” highlighting characters from The Lion King, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and Hercules. Disney Wish at Castaway Cay

The Disney Wish set sail in 2022, later this year Disney Cruise Line will open its new beach destination — Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and the NEW Disney Treasure cruise ship will debut in December. Coming up in 2025, the Disney Adventure cruise ship will start cruising from Singapore, and we’ve just learned that Disney Cruise Line’s 8th ship will also enter service in 2025!
